HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) - The Houston Texans made the trip to Dallas to face the Cowboys for the third preseason game of the NFL season, but the first four minutes weren't how the Texans envisioned or hoped it would go.
After forcing the Cowboys to a three and out, the Texans had their first offensive possession when Pro Bowl running back, Lamar Miller, went down with a left-leg injury and was carted to the locker room. The Houston Texans believe that Miller injured his ACL but will need an MRI to confirm the damage.

— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) August 24, 2019On the very next play, quarterback Deshaun Watson was strip-sacked with the Cowboys recovering and a player landing on the ankle of guard Zach Fulton, who was also carted to the locker room after he left the field. Reports indicate that Fulton suffered a mild case of turf toe.
In his first action of the 2019 NFL preseason, star defensive end J.J. Watt showed that he's ready for action with two tackles, including a 3-yard tackle for a loss before he sat for the night.
Seeing enough from the first-team offense, quarterback Joe Webb III entered the game, ending the night for Deshaun Watson and other key starters.
Watson finished the game going 0-0 and one sack for a 6-yard loss.
The Cowboys seemed to drive the game and do exactly when they wanted against the Texans.
The Texans' offense only logged 8 first downs and just 135 yards of total offense.
In the end, the Cowboys shutout the Texans, 34-0.
