The move comes days after comments from Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones about the Linehan's future. "This is the time when these things are thought about," Jones said on his show with our sister station, 105.3 The Fan. "This is the time when you may see an opportunity next week that you didn't know existed next week, in the area of personnel or the area of coaching."
Mike Garafolo, from GMFB, reports that the Cowboys have been speaking to OC candidates outside of the organization for a few days.
In addition to internal discussion on Scott Linehan, the #Cowboys have been speaking to outside OC candidates for a few days now, according to a source with knowledge of the team's decision-making on this one.
