(SportsRadio 610) -- DeAndre Hopkins has not forgotten about the last game he played for the Houston Texans.
That's when they blew a 24-0 second quarter lead to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round back in January.
Hopkins acknowledged Patrick Mahomes' record-setting 10-year contract extension with the Chiefs, which could be worth over $500 million. Rallying the Chiefs through a 24-0 deficit against the Texans, as Hopkins sees it, is part of the resume.
"24 reasons why Mahomes deserves that. 0 Doubts he will win more Super Bowls," Hopkins tweeted Tuesday.
The Texans and Hopkins have moved on after seven seasons together. The Texans traded Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals for running back David Johnson, a second-round pick they used to select defensive lineman and Missouri City-native Ross Blacklock, and a pick swap.
Houston now has a solid group of receivers -- while none as good as Hopkins -- between Brandin Cooks, Will Fuller, Randall Cobb and Kenny Stills.
Meanwhile, Hopkins is partnered with second-year quarterback and rising star Kyler Murray in Arizona.
But Hopkins isn't hesitating to take jabs at his former team.
Remember back in April when Hopkins was in Houston working at Patrick Fertitta's home, when he referenced the Colts and Titans as the best teams in the AFC South.
