HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- The Rockets will be without Kenneth Faried for at least the next two games and Iman Shumpert is questionable for Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers Mike D'Antoni announced Thursday.
Shumpert has missed the Rockets' last three games due to a sore right calf. He's played in just five games since being traded to the Rockets before the trade deadline.
D'Antoni said Thursday that an MRI on Faried revealed a Grade-1 left adductor strain. He too has missed the last three games and D'Antoni said Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets at Toyota Center could mark his return. After Friday's game against Philadelphia, the Rockets play in Dallas Sunday.
The Rockets will enter Friday's game at Toyota Center alone in fourth place in the Western Conference standings with a 39-25 record.
