HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) – David Quessenberry's touchdown grab in the Titans' loss to the Colts sent good feelings all the way to Houston.
"You can't have enough good things to say about Quess (Quessenberry), Quess was such a huge part of what we were doing here, and it was a hard thing to release him. He is a really good guy, who overcame so much in his life, so to see him be able to have a play like that and see the joy on his face, just very happy for him," Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien said on Monday.
Quessenberry's touchdown catch was a 1-yard pass from Marcus Mariota early in the second quarter. Quessenberry, reporting as tight end eligible, made a nice adjustment on the ball for his first career touchdown.

— Tennessee Titans (@Titans) September 15, 2019Quessenberry was a 2013 sixth-round draft pick by the Texans, and in 2014, it was discovered Quessenberry had Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The Texans placed him on the non-football injury list while he fought cancer.
After defeating cancer, Quessenberry spent most of the 2017 season on the practice squad, before being promoted to the active roster in December, and then made his NFL debut on Christmas of 2018.
The Texans, due to their roster crunch, waived Quessenberry before the start of the 2018 season. He signed with Tennessee 10 days later, and spent the season on the Titans' practice squad. This season, Quessenberry has been active for both of Tennessee's games.
