Astros' Alex Bregman writes a "Thank You" letter to the City of Houston

HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) - It's official.

The Houston Astros have signed 3B, Alex Bregman, to a five-year contract extension.

The announcement was made today by Houston Astros' president of baseball operations and general manager, Jeff Luhnow.

Bregman will be a memeber of the Astros through 2024.

In a letter written to the City of Houston, Bregman thanked the city for making Houston his home and promised "...that every time I step on that field, every time I step in that box, that I will bring the  heartbeat of an entire city with me."
