HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) -- Former Rockets head coach and player Rudy Tomjanovich and Olympic gold medalists Carl Lewis and Mary Lou Retton headline the latest group of Houston sports legends to make it to the Houston Sports Hall of Fame.
The Harris County-Houston Sports Authority announced the selections Thursday on SportsRadio 610.

September 26, 2019 Tomjanovich, affectionately known around the city as "Rudy T," was the head coach of the Rockets' back-to-back championships in 1994 and 1995. He also played for the team through the '70s.
Lewis and Retton are two of the most renowned Olympians in their respective sports in track and field and gymnastics.
Lewis, who has been embedded in the city since his days at the University of Houston, won nine Olympic gold medals in track and field from 1984 to 1996.
Retton, also a longtime Houston resident, won five medals in the 1984 Olympics, including a gold medal.
