HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- On the fourth pitch of the bottom of the tenth inning, Tony Kemp roped an Adam Cimber sinker of the right field wall giving the Astros a 4-3 walk-off win over the Cleveland Indians Saturday at Minute Maid Park.

Kemp's homer was of the pinch hit variety, and was his second of the season as the Astros won their first extra innings game of 2019.

Aledmys Diaz got the scoring started when he doubled home Carlos Correa in the third, but the Indians got that run back by putting runners on the corners with no one out. Jose Ramirez scored when Carlos Santana grounded into a double play.

Brad Peacock started the game for the Astros and gave up just that fourth inning run over six innings of work with seven strikeouts. Carlos Correa's sixth inning two-run homer, his sixth of the season, put Peacock in position for his third win of the season, but the bullpen faltered.

Will Harris, who hadn't allowed a run all season, started the seventh, but was lifted in favor of Ryan Pressly after surrendering one out singles to Jake Bauers and Tyler Naquin. Pressly uncorked a wild pitch while facing Francisco Lindor, giving the green light for both runners to move up 90 feet. Lindor's sacrifice fly brought the Indians within a run, and Mike Freeman's RBI single to right tied the game.

After Shane Bieber matched Peacock with six innings, Dan Otero worked a scoreless seventh. Pressly held Cleveland off the board in the eighth, and in the bottom of the inning, Indians manager Terry Francona used three pitchers (Otero, Tyler Olson and Tyler Clippard) to keep the game tied. Roberto Osuna worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning for Houston, Clippard did the same, sending the game to extra innings.

Osuna worked around a leadoff single in the Indians half of the inning, setting the stage for Kemp's heroics.

Correa finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI as the Astros improve to 16-11 on the season.

Carlos Gonzalez had a two hit day for the Indians who see their three-game win streak come to an end as they fall to 15-11.

On Sunday, the Astros will look to split their four-game weekend series the Indians. Wade Miley will start for the Astros against Carlos Carrasco.
