HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) - The Los Angeles Angels are close to finalizing the largest contract in sports history with their star center fielder, Mike Trout.

Reports are the contract is $430 million for 12-years, smashing the previous record set by Canelo Alvarez with the DAZN network.

Trout’s extension will put him at a career earnings total of $577.85 million.

JJ Watt lobbied the Texans for a similar contract.
