Brown is facing sexual assault allegations from his former trainer Britney Taylor, who filed a civil lawsuit Sept. 10. The Patriots had just signed Brown the previous day.

A painter hired by Brown has also accused him of exposing himself while she was on the job. Brown has denied the allegations.

The Patriots signed Brown this month hours after he was released by Oakland. He was traded to the Raiders after wearing out his welcome with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he was a four-time All-Pro in nine seasons.

This is a developing story. This Associated Press contributed to this report.
