Paul George is expected to make his debut with the Los Angeles Clippers during the team's upcoming road trip against the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans this week, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

George and the Clippers are still deciding on which game will be his first, Wojnarowski reported.

The six-time all-star had been rehabilitating offseason shoulder surgeries that have sidelined him for the first 10 games of the season.

George was traded to the Clippers from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a deal to eventually pair him up with then-free agent Kawhi Leonard, who'd just won the NBA Finals MVP with the Toronto Raptors.

That trade opened up the opportunity for the Rockets to trade for Russell Westbrook, longtime friend and previous teammate to James Harden.

The Rockets traded Chris Paul to Oklahoma City in exchange for Westbrook.

The Rockets (7-3) host the Clippers on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
