HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- J.J. Watt left in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders with what appears to be a torn pectoral.
Watt was taken to a hospital for an MRI after the injury.
He confirmed after the game that he would miss the rest of the season.
The Texans are waiting for the MRI results to confirm the injury.
This game can be beautiful and it can also be brutal. Absolutely gutted that I won't be able to finish the season with my guys and give the fans what they deserve. I truly love this game and can't stand letting you guys down. Thank you for all of the thoughts & well-wishes.

The Texans were already missing their two starting cornerbacks Johnathan Joseph and Bradley Roby, both with hamstring injuries.
Safety Tashaun Gipson Sr. was also out for the Texans.
