“I’ve had this game circled on my calendar for a really long time. Been looking forward to it, first time me and my brother will ever be on the field at the same time,” Texans’ safety Justin Reid said.
Justin’s brother, Eric, is five years older and has been in the league five years longer than Justin. Eric, who has seen more in his career than Justin, is also looking forward to the game against his brother.
“We’ve been talking about this for a while now. I’ve never played against him at any level, I’ve never played with him, so it’ll be pretty cool,” Eric Reid said.
Like any good sibling rivalry, the Reid’s have some competitiveness between the two. “He’s never beaten me at anything, so we aren’t starting now,” the older brother Eric Reid said.
That kind of statement didn’t go unnoticed by the younger brother, Justin Reid, “False, lies. See the competition has started now. We’re going to prove that first win on Sunday.”
