Marisnick, 28, batted .233 with 10 home runs and 34 RBI in 120 games last season as the Astros fourth outfielder and appeared in 14-of-18 postseason games.
Acquired in a trade from the Miami Marlins in 2014, Marisnick has played in at least 106 games for the Astros over the past five seasons, but became expendable with a $3 million arbitration projection and six other outfielders on the team's 40-man roster.
In return for Marisnick, the Astros will reportedly receieve pitcher Blake Taylor, 24, and outfielder Kenedy Corona, 19.
