HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- With hours remaining before the NBA's trade deadline, the Rockets have reportedly agreed to trade James Ennis to the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to the Athletic, the Rockets will have the right to swap second round picks with the Sixers in 2021 in exchange for Ennis, who had a player's option with the Rockets for next season after signing a two-year, $3.5 million deal in July.
Ennis averaged 7.4 points per game in 23.7 minutes. He had appeared in 40-of-53 games, making 25 starts. He shot just below 37 percent from behind the 3-point line.
With the trade of Ennis, the Rockets now have 14 players signed to their NBA roster, giving them an open spot.
