Bradley Roby went down in the third quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs and did not return.
The Texans were already without veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph due to a hamstring injury when Roby had to leave the game.
That left opportunities for Lonnie Johnson Jr., Phillip Gaines and Keion Crossen, who all filled in respectably.
Roby was signed to a one-year, $10 million deal in the offseason from Denver, replacing longtime Texans DB Kareem Jackson, who signed with the Broncos.
When head coach Bill O'Brien was asked about injuried players Monday, he said they would be meeting to see where everyone is.
