HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- Clint Capela scored 25 points as the Rockets opened their preseason schedule with a 140-71 win over the Shanghai Sharks Monday night at Toyota Center.

Capela only played 19 minutes, but shot 11-of-13 from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds.


James Harden spent 21 minutes on the floor, and finished with a triple-double, scoring 10 points, while grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out 17 assists.

Russell Westbrook didn't play as the Rockets continue to build him up. The Athletic reported Monday that he'll make his preseason debut for the Rockets when they play the Toronto Raptors in Japan next week.

Chris Clemons and Gerald Green scored 21 points off the bench.

The Rockets held the Sharks to 33 percent shooting, while forcing 24 turnovers.

The Rockets will continue their 6-game preseason slate Friday, when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers in Honolulu.
