The Texans needed to fill the void left by D.J. Reader's departure in free agency. Signing Jernigan and drafting Houston-area native Ross Blacklock with the 40th overall pick appeared to be the plan.
On Tuesday evening, however, Jernigan
revealed on Instagram he would not be headed to Houston.
