HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Rookie defensive end Charles Omenihu has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Omenihu has been dealing with a knee injury and was limited in practice last week.
The rookie has one sack and a forced fumble for the Texans this season.
Also ruled out for the Texans are offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson, inside linebacker Tyrell Adams, cornerback Xavier Crawford, quarterback Alex McGough and tight ends Jerell Adams and Logan Paulsen.
Some notable lineup changes for the Panthers:
Former Aggies and Cougars quarterback Kyle Allen is starting in place of the injured Cam Newton.
Ross Cockrell will start at cornerback in place of Donte Jackson.
Daryl Williams is starting at right guard for Trai Turner.
Greg Little will start at left tackle.
Vernon Butler will start at defensive end for Kawann Short.
The Texans (2-1) host the Panthers (1-2) at noon.
