HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn is getting a four-year deal to remain with the team.

The 26-year-old kicker was an unrestricted free agent, but the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson is reporting the Texans are committing to a four-year deal with Fairbairn.

The deal is worth $17.65 million with $9 million fully guaranteed, Wilson reports.

Fairbairn struggled early in the season, missing three extra points and two field goals in the first six games. He rebounded later in the season.

Fairbairn had the game winning field goal against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to clinch the AFC South division title. He later kicked a field goal to beat the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Wild Card game at NRG Stadium.
