Texans Sign WR DeAndre Carter To Contract Extension

HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- The Texans are signing wide receiver and return specialist DeAndre Carter to a contract extension, the team announced Wednesday. 

Carter, 26, was the primary return specialist for the Texans in 2019. He was an exclusive-rights free agent. Details of the deal had not yet been disclosed.

Carter finished third in the NFL and second in the AFC in punt return average last season, averaging 9.7 yards per return for the Texans.
