(SportsRadio 610) Bradley Roby is expected to return to the Houston Texans.
Roby and the Texans are finalizing a three-year deal, according to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson reports.
The deal is worth somewhere around $36 million, which would average out to $12 million a year.
Roby signed a one-year, $10 million deal with the Texans as a free agent last year.
He became the team's top cornerback, when healthy. Roby had two interceptions, eight passes defensed, a forced fumble and a sack.
Roby missed six games in the regular season, mostly due to a hamstring injury. He was considered one of the league's top cornerbacks on the free agent market.
Given the Texans' need at cornerback, they were would either need to re-sign Roby, pay high price for another free agent corner, or invest draft capital.
