(SportsRadio 610) -- The Texans have agreed to a deal with free agent defensive tackle Tim Jernigan, according to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson.
It's a one-year deal worth a maximum of $3.75 million, Wilson reports.
Jernigan has played six NFL seasons -- his first three years with the Baltimore Ravens and the last three with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jernigan was part of the Eagles' Super Bowl-winning team from the 2017 season.
The Texans needed to fill the void left by D.J. Reader's departure in free agency.
