HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- The Houston Texans are waiving tight end Jerell Adams and signing safety Mike Adams, the team announced Tuesday.
Jerell Adams first signed to the Texans practice squad last season.
He made headlines this preseason with a 30-yard pass play from Joe Webb when he put this vicious stiff arm on Andrew Adams (no relation between any of these three players).
Other roster moves:
Safety Jonathan Owens signed to the practice squad
Tackle Christian DiLauro and safety Austin Exford released from the practice squad
