HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) – Deshaun Watson was perfect in Sunday's 53-32 win against Atlanta.

Watson compiled a perfect 158.3 passer rating, as he completed 28 of his 33 passes for 426 yards and five touchdowns.

"He (Watson) did an awesome job of managing the offense.  He ran the show.  Whoever sends the play in sends the play in and he runs the show out there.  He did a really good job of managing the formations and personnel groupings and plays and he had a great day," Texans' head coach Bill O'Brien said about his quarterback's performance.

Coming into the game Watson had thrown for six touchdown passes in the first four games of the 2019 season, and was just one touchdown pass off matching that in only one game.

The five touchdown passes for Watson matches a career high and is the third time he's achieved the feat.  462 yards is a career high for the third year quarterback, which breaks his previous high of 402 yards set against Seattle in his rookie season.

Even in a career game Watson can find a way to be a perfectionist.

"It's pretty cool.  Just try to, like I say, just try to get better each and every week, try to build on that and try to do it consistently.  The great ones can do those things consistently," Watson said.  We left a lot of plays on the field, missed a couple touchdowns with Will (Fuller).  So it could have been better.  So there's always room to improve."
