HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- The Texans don't know if wide receiver Will Fuller V will be available for Sunday's AFC South showdown against the Tennessee Titans, but Titans head coach Mike Vrabel knows what the receiver adds when he's on the field.

"Just a dynamic speed player, vertical threat, but he can run," Vrabel said on a conference call Wednesday.

Vrabel was a member of Bill O'Brien's coaching staff when the Texans drafted Fuller in the first round, and recalled the lead up to that selection.

"I remember when we were evaluating him and Billy fell in love with this guy in the draft process," Vrabel said. "He said he could run the entire route tree, but he's also one of the faster players in the draft. So, he's not just a fast player that can take the top off of it, he can run the entire route tree in the offense."

Fuller was limited at practice Wednesday afternoon after missing last week's 38-24 loss to Denver due to a hamstring injury.

Without him, the Texans didn't put the ball in the end zone until the third quarter. And Fuller's replacement on the roster, Keke Coutee, fumbled on the Texans' second possession of the game, which Kareem Jackson returned for a touchdown.

O'Brien said he did not know Fuller's status before practice, but once it ended, Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson relayed what his return would mean to an offense that struggled without him.

"It's another weapon that makes a lot of big time plays and that can take the top off and do some great things for us," Watson said. "Definitely seeing how the week goes, and we can definitely use him."

The Texans will practice again Thursday and Friday before boarding a flight to Nashville, and with the biggest game of the season coming up Sunday they could certainly use Fuller and his 14.2 yard per catch average.
