HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- As good as the Texans offense has been at times this season, they want to get more out of it.

They still have not opened a game with an offensive touchdown. And while the Texans are gaining yards and scoring in the red zone with efficiency, the offense isn't as sharp as it could be.

Deshaun Watson said Thursday they need a bit more urgency and focus.

"Especially if a previous play didn't go our way, if the defense makes a play or make a stand, we just have to put that in the past and focus on the next play," Watson said. "It's not a big, big deal, but it's definitely something that we want to focus on and get corrected and make sure that we're improving in that area."

Offensive coordinator Tim Kelly said he saw breakdowns at different positions after looking back on last week's film against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After the defense spotted them a touchdown, the Texans offense responded with a field goal drive, then punted twice and fumbled on the next three possessions.

"It's all execution, and that's the frustrating part with it is because a lot of times it's mostly a self-inflicted wound that ends up stalling the drive," Kelly said. "Again, that's something we're going to focus on this week and hopefully we can come out and get some better results."

It's not clear if, or how much Watson will play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Watson said he doesn't want the day off, but the Texans have already clinched the AFC South and beating the Titans only moves the Texans to the No. 3 seed if the Chiefs lose to the Chargers.
