HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texans safety Justin Reid is unlikely to play Thursday night against the Indianapolis Colts after suffering a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Reid has not practiced this week due to being in the concussion protocol. Safety Mike Adams, who suffered a concussion in the pregame workouts Sunday, has also been held out of the practice the past two days.
Texans head coach Bill O'Brien was asked about injuries at Tuesday's press availability. The team has nine players on the injury report, including quarterback Deshaun Watson, who injured his ankle against Baltimore.
Watson has been listed as a full participant at practice and is expected to play Thursday.
But players who suffered concussions are unlikely to play against the Colts, O'Brien said.
"I'd say a guy who had a concussion on Sunday, it'd be hard for him to be cleared to play on Thursday," O'Brien said. "But a guy that's been dealing with a hamstring, or maybe an ankle or whatever it is, depending on the rehab and how that goes, they could be ready to play on Thursday night."
