(SportsRadio 610) -- In the words of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers -- who learned a thing-or-two Thursday night about NFL general managers over-thinking things -- relax.
Capital R, capital E, etc.
Chill, Texans fans. Don't worry about a thing when it comes to the much talked-about and many decisions facing the Houston Texans today, as Day Two of the NFL Draft arrives.
The rest of the league, and the aforementioned stumbling GMs, could not have been more generous to Bill O'Brien and the Houston Texans.
Now, it gets easy. Candy. A piece of cake. For the Texans, even a caveman could pull off a successful second-round pick. The ever-embattled O'Brien has got this, thanks to a first day of the draft that could not have fallen more perfectly into place, considering Texans needs and wants.

For all the hand-wringing over how other teams' decisions might affect the Texans' important second-round pick, the ultimate effect was no effect. For all the reports and rumors that O'Brien might be trading up in the draft, surely crippling an already-barren draft cupboard, he stood pat.
And the result for the Texans simply could not have been better.
Today, all the realistic possibilities and options the Texans envisioned prior to Thursday night are still there.
If BOB wants an edge rusher like Iowa's A.J. Epenesa, Penn State's Yetur Gross-Matos or Auburn's Marlon Davidson, they're still there for the taking.
If BOB wants a big-time safety like Alabama's Xavier McKinney, Minnesota's Antoine Winfield or LSU's Grant Delpit, they're still there.
If BOB wants a defensive tackle like TCU's Ross Blacklock or Texas A&M's Justin Madubuike, an o-lineman like UH's Josh Jones or LSU's Damien Lewis –even the best tight end in the draft, Notre Dame's Cole Kmet – it's all still right there.
Whatever BOB wants, BOB can get today, and he doesn't even have to wait to get his man. A trade up today figures to be much easier to pull off for the Texans, if there is a must-have they want to snag.
Moving to the top of the second-round is much less costly than into the first-round. Moving up just five or six spots is, even more-so, and more likely considering the Bengals and Colts drafting 33rd and 34th are very likely to draft offensive skill position players today.'
Even if BOB wants to continue to wait until the 40th pick, several of his big-board favorites still figure to be available.
Ultimately, of course, whomever the Texans draft today must prove to be a legitimate NFL player. That's on coaching and the player and a longer-term question.
But for now, Trader Bill stood pat. And it was the best possible decision he could have made.
