During the first hour of The Outdoors Show we begin with Captain Mickey's weather report and tide predictions. Then we get a report from Captain Glenn Hammond who talks taking a few kids fishing this week, being on the search for clear water, and fighting the elements with summer in full effect. Next we talk with Bob Green in Fayette County who gives us a report on the lakes including Summerville. He's been catching most of his fish between 14-18 feet, fishing natural structures, and will they ever school again? Then we talk with Captain Tommy Alexander who says Tuesday was the best day all week despite the heat. Plenty of mullet jumping everywhere. John Little is off pond hopping this morning, was up at the deer lease this past week with the family and grand kids, "This is Just Nature." He'll be in Columbus this morning to fish with a friend!
