During the first hour of the show we begin with Captain Mickey's weather report and tide predictions, then we head over to Sabine Lake and talk with Captain Bill Watkins who says they've had a bit of a flush but it came right back up, fish following the shrimp around, rebuilding, fish growing fast, loosing fish to flooding, experiencing weird things, had some fantastic squirrel hunting, I can't hear the squirrels barking, threading the needle. Captain Richard Tatsch says the catfish are doing well, water temperature dropping 2 degrees, flipping the script on em, construction is everywhere, an amazing story about Mickey's grandparents, crazy highways, Richard's experience with leaches, the evolution of life and learning, ditch bug fishing, and not slowing down or growing old. And Captain Charlie P and Mickey recap the Astros vs Yankees game from last night, it's an utter zoo over here, how Galveston used to be, "it was stupid", finding big flounder in the back bays and funnel points, and a crazy big tournament this week.
