When Will Fuller is on the field for the Texans, he presents one of the most dangerous deep threats in all of football.
When he's on the field.
As Fuller heads into the final year of his rookie contract, a $10.162 million fifth-year option, his durability still raises major concerns for the Texans.
"The key is to get him on the field." Texans head coach and general manager Bill O'Brien told the Houston Chronicle.
Fuller played in 14 games his rookie season in 2016. Since then, he's played in 10 games in 2017; seven games in 2018; and 11 games last season.
The Texans were far more threatening as an offense with Fuller. They went 8-3 in the 11 games he played, but 2-3 in the five games he missed due to injuries.
Former Texans Wade Smith and Cecil Shorts III filled in for Payne & Pendergast on Monday.
They discussed Fuller's future and how the durability issues could factor into how much longer Fuller is with the team.
