Glenn Hammond (Tri-Bay): "Livin' the Dream"
Shouldn't have any problem finding bait. Learn how to throw a cast net and save yourself some money. Went down to San Luis pass yesterday and a friend of mine said several limits of flounder have been coming in, best report I've heard. That little northern must've really moved those flounder. Limiting our jetties to 75 people.
Bob Green (Fayette Co.):
Fishing hasn't been excellent, but it's good. Here we go again into our summer time pattern. Water is still up, it's in good shape. When it's hot they are usually good about keeping the water level up, just hope it stays up. Water temp. still in the mid 80's. Day before yesterday could really see the shad running and we could see some decent sized fish chasin' em.
Tommy Alexander (Matagorda):
Been bass fishin' here lately. Haven't heard a lot of good things, been tough out there especially for drifters. Been plenty of wind, a lot of E and NE and it's blowing hard. A wader out here caught a few yesterday, but still wasn't very good. Going to be hot every day next week with south winds. Hot and Windy.
Brian Barrera (S. Padre):
15 Year old kid caught a huge snook. Jetties are starting to calm down for us so I'm ready to get on some king fish. Going red fishin' today. Been catching on lures, found a group of bull reds when I was trout fishing in the deeper water. 27-33 inch reds. Soft plastics have worked fine. Trout fishing in the morning and Red fishing in the afternoon is the way it has been going.
