Bill Watkins (Sabine): "Donkey Sauce"
Been soft plastics for last couple of days, and there is a lot of trout. NE wind yesterday started kickin' about 9 o'clock yesterday, made things tough. Better to get out early. I cannot find the red fish at all, but been catching the trout, and plenty of black drum. Usually if there's black drum around you will find the reds, but no luck yet. Mickey speaks about his love for the seaguar gold label.
Richard Tatsch (Conroe): "Big Gizzards"
We lit 'em up yesterday. The catfish are going crazy, even starting to see the bigger ones come out now. These gizzard shad are great fishin' for cats. These gizzards are huge!

Real rough out here. A few people caught fish up against the jetties. The wind seems to be a ton better this morning, pretty calm. Caught 5 flounder the other day, nothing to complain about, with COVID happening they aren't going to close the season.
