Glenn Hammond (Tri Bay):
We're starting to get to the real hot days of summer now, but man these fish have been hungry out here. The trout are biting. Had a lady get a 24 inch trout get up to the boat then spit the hook.
Tony Gonzalez (Rockport):
Caught 7 trout and 1 red the other day that were all nice fish. 10 trout and 1 red the next day. Right now you look at the front of the bay and the houses on the coast disappear with this dust storm that has hit us. Really something else. It is already hard to breathe with the humidity we deal with, but the dust makes it worse. Tony lucked out on the rain this week, Captain Mickey was not so lucky. Caught ten trout yesterday, started a little slow but a good day. Captain Mickey talks about the best boat he's had.
Jeff "Nail 'em" Naylor (Freeport):
Been absolutely land locked. Been pretty tough, starting to get that way each year until July, so we are looking forward to that. The days Jeff has been able to get out have been unbelievable trips, just have to be able to get out there. Shrimp boat season is about to start on July 15th, that means getting on those king fish and lings that might be underneath em. Heard that somebody called a 90lb. Ling out of Port Aransas recently.
