John Littleton (Lake Houston): "Don't Lick Your Fingers"
Fishing tight structure has been working for us. We've started to throw a jig a little bit. Black and blue jigs work great, I prefer those Stanley's. In the old days we used those uncle Josh pork trailers. I was always partial to the kickin' bass garlic back in the day, make sure not to lick your fingers though. Double header tournament tomorrow out here at Lake Houston, both tourneys will happen at the same time and you can fish both if you want.
Texas City Dave: "There's Starch in the Bait Flags"
Croaker, live shrimp flags are up. Weather has been a little hard to deal with, but if the weather was always good all the fish would be caught. Moses Lake floodgate has been mostly closed, opened up partially every once in a while to see how the repairs are working out. We have huge shrimp, come on by!
Steve Hillman (San Leon): "Catching Slaunches"
Tournament fishing yesterday was TOUGH. Yet another 4th place finish. We caught 6 trout quick in the morning, but I thought we could catch some bigger fish. We saw fish everywhere we stopped but couldn't catch them everywhere. In hindsight should've kept the morning trout. Been hearing little johns have been working better than live shrimp.
