Cliff Webb (Corpus):

Tough for anyone going off shore this week, man it's tough out there. The bigger trout that are 29-30 inch are sterile. What we're seeing now is a lot of 13-14 inch males. Big skin mouths on my wall, I look at that now and I think "man I can't keep that". Gotta let these fish spawn out. If you are going out every day and bringing in 23-25 inch fish and 27 inch fish it's going to turn out bad, the fallout is going to become obvious. If you don't have habitat for these fish to stay in, they aren't going to stay here- doesn't matter how many fish you dump. If they need live oyster beds and there's none, the fish are out of here. In the old days you would have to throw fish back by end of day, now you gotta grind it out.

Will Kirkpatrick (Sam Rayburn):

Fairly good top water bite. We've had high water every year for it seems 6 years.

Harry Detane (Livingston):

We're getting along good down here. Traffic seems to be picking up, people must be going back to work. Lake is in good shape. We are about 8-9 inches below normal pool. It's been up and now, but the lake is clearing up good- you can find some pockets of clear water. Fishing has been good. Crappie are everywhere out here.
