(SportsRadio 610) - For your own sake, hopefully you were able to watch the Astros take a 2-0 lead against the Seattle Mariners in the ALDS.

Ideally, either you watched on television or streamed it somewhere, somehow.

But just in case all you've got is this website, here is a live blog of the game, where SportsRadio 610 has Adam Spolane and me covering from Minute Maid Park.

SEVENTH INNING

With two outs, Aledmys Diaz doubles down the left field line. Rookie David Hensley was brought in to pinch hit for the struggling Jake Meyers, but he grounded out to end the inning.

--

There was some traffic on the bases in the top half of this inning. Astros reliever Bryan Abreu walked JP Crawford after a groundout by Adam Frazier. Then he struck out Julio Rodriguez and Rafael Montero was brought in to replace Abreu.

Montero walked Ty France, but got Eugenio Suarez to line out to left field.

SIXTH INNING

Yordan Alvarez hit a two-run, two-out homer to give the Astros a 3-2 lead in the sixth inning. The Astros were fortunate in the previous at-bat, when Jeremy Pena recorded a bloop single to center field.

Hector Neris enters the game with the bases loaded, two outs, in the sixth inning.

--

Framber Valdez in the sixth inning gets Ty France to ground out, strikes out Eugenio Suarez, then walks Mitch Haniger. Carlos Santana then doubles to right field to set up runners at second and third with two outs in the sixth inning.

Valdez is at 86 pitches at this point. There is a mound visit, but he stays in to face Dylan Moore and walks him with a curveball on a full count.

So that's the end of Valdez's day: two runs (one earned) on four hits with six strikeouts and three walks in 5.2 innings. He threw 92 pitches, 55 for strikes.
