Astros closer Ryan Pressly returns from paternity list

(SportsRadio 610) - Astros closer Ryan Pressly has returned from the paternity list and is with the team for their series finale against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday.

Pressly was activated Sunday morning, while the Astros optioned left-hander Parker Mushinski, who pitched the eighth inning for Houston in Saturday's win over Seattle, back to Triple A.

Before going on the paternity list, Pressly had matched the club record by retiring his last 27 consecutive batters over eight outings since June 25 at Yankee Stadium. He ranks third in the American League saves and has converted 19 of 22 save opportunities.
