Astros' Lance McCullers Jr. left off ALCS roster against Red Sox

HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- The Astros announced their American League Championship Series roster and as anticipated, top pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. has been left off the roster with forearm tightness.

Houston is carrying 13 pitchers, six outfielders, five infielders and two catchers. The most notable changes from the Division Series roster to the ALCS are not having McCullers, adding Jake Odorizzi and left-handed pitcher Blake Taylor, and taking off third catcher Garrett Stubbs.

The Astros and Red Sox being the ALCS on Friday night at Minute Maid Park, with lefties Framber Valdez and Chris Sale taking the mound.
