Astros place reliever Ryan Pressly on 15-day injured list with low back strain

The Astros have placed veteran reliever Ryan Pressly on the 15-day injured list with a low back strain. The move is retroactive to Wednesday, Aug. 14.

To take his place on the active roster, the Astros recalled right-handed pitcher Seth Martinez from Triple A.

Pressly has a 3.86 ERA over 46 2/3 innings pitched in 49 appearances for Houston this season, his first since moving back from closer to setup.
