(SportsRadio 610) - Only one change is being made to the Astros' ALCS roster.
They are adding right-handed pitcher Seth Martinez and removing center fielder Jake Meyers from the ALDS roster, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
Martinez had a 2.09 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 38.2 innings pitched for Houston this season. Meyers had a .227/.269/.582 slash line in 150 at-bats this season. He went 0-for-2 against Seattle in the ALCS.
The Astros and Yankees begin the ALCS Wednesday at Minute Maid Park. Justin Verlander is on the mound for Houston, with Woodlands-native Jameson Taillon pitching for the Yankees.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:37 p.m. CT.
