Astros shortstop Carlos Correa and center fielder Myles Straw are the top candidates to replace George Springer as leadoff hitter, manager Dusty Baker said Wednesday.

Correa led off in the Astros' Wednesday spring game against the Miami Marlins, going 3-for-3 with a pair of infield hits and a two-run single.

Straw is considered one of the fastest players in baseball and if he can get on base consistently, would be a prime candidate for leadoff as a baserunning threat. He will likely replace Springer in center field, but the batting order is still being tweaked.

Correa is hitting .333 in the Grapefruit League, while Straw is hitting .438.
