The Atlanta Braves had too many weapons Tuesday night, beating the Houston Astros in gamne 1 of the World Series 6-2 on the power of 12 hits.

Dusty Baker acknowledged the beatdown shortly after the game. "We didn't give them anything tonight. We just got beat," the Astros manager said.

Few will forget Jorge Soler's leadoff blast to start the scoring for Atlanta. Adam Duvall's blast in the third inning plated two runs, and Austin Riley's RBI double in the first announced the Braves' presence with authority.

While Soler, Eddie Rosario, and Ozzie Albies each notched multiple hits in Game 1, everyone got into the action at the plate. And I do mean everyone. For the first time since 2010, nine different batters recorded a hit.

Game 2 will be in Houston again on Wednesday where the Braves will look to keep their bats hot.
