The Astros beat the Angels 6-5 on Jeremy Peña's walk-off single to right field in the 10th inning.
It was the second consecutive night an Astros starter struggled, but unlike the day before, Houston was able to overcome it.
Kyle Tucker took over the major-league home run lead with a pair of homers in the game. Tucker has 17 home runs and his 1.074 OPS trails only Shohei Ohtani.
Jon Singleton and Yordan Alvarez each hit a home run for Houston.
Cristian Javier struggled, but the bullpen was outstanding for six innings. The Astros improve to 22-27 on the season.
