Astros sweep three-game home series against Orioles
The Astros beat the Baltimore Orioles 8-1 on Sunday to complete the sweep of the weekend series at Minute Maid Park.
With the win, Houston is two games under .500 for the first time since starting the season 0-2, with the lowly Colorado Rockies (27-50) in town for a two-game set starting Tuesday.
The Astros totaled 15 hits Sunday against Baltimore. Jose Altuve sent the first pitch thrown by Orioles starter Albert Suarez to the Crawford Boxes to give Houston an early lead. Alex Bregman was 4-for-4 with two doubles and a walk. Jeremy Peña also had a pair of doubles for the Astros
