(SportsRadio 610) - The Yankees got to Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr. early in game four of the ALCS.

Giancarlo Stanton and Gleyber Torres hit RBI singles in the first inning, then Anthony Rizzo hit an RBI-double in the second.

But Astros hitters got to Yankees left-handed starter Nestor Cortes in the third inning. Martin Maldonado and Jose Altuve both walked to leadoff the inning. Then rookie shortstop Jeremy Peña homered to left field, his fourth homer this postseason.

It tied the game at three runs apiece before Yuli Gurriel's RBI-single gave the Astros a 4-3 lead, with McCullers still on the mound.

Peña continues a remarkable rookie campaign. Among American League rookie position players, he ranked second in HR (22) and third in WAR (5.0).

He was also tied for tops in the majors among shortstops in defensive runs saved, per FanGraps.
