This absurd stat encompasses Astros' problems

The Astros were swept at home by the Atlanta Braves this week. Now they travel for an eight-game road trip as they sit eight games under .500 (4-16).

But there is one particular statistic that has The Drive with Stoerner & Hughley worked up.

Not only are the Astros operating with a losing record. They had been outscored this season 29-4 in the last two innings of ballgames leading into Wednesday. If you count Wednesday's game, which went into extra innings, you can extend that number to 31-4.

That is not going to get it done, especially with a backend bullpen this heralded and a lineup this good at the top of it.
