Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is among the position player leaders in first ballot All-Star voting. But Astros fans are trying to get him into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot.
That's what brings us to Seth Payne and Sean Pendergast, who dive into why it's so important to get out and vote to get Altuve to the 2024 MLB All-Star Game this year. He's already on a historic pace to become the best second baseman of all-time.
The first phase of fan voting ends June 27. Altuve has already been in eight All-Star games and started five. If he gets into one more, it ties for the second-most at the position in MLB history.
