(SportsRadio 610) - The 2021 NBA Draft class is looking like a really good one.
Reigning Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes is not having as a good sophomore season with the Toronto Raptors, but he's still an excellent player in year two.
Evan Mobley is a double-double machine for a Cleveland Cavaliers squad that will compete in the Eastern Conference playoffs this year. Mobley is averaging 15.1 points and 9.5 rebounds through 28 games. He is an emerging, special two-way player.
Then there are the top two picks - Detroit Pistons' Cade Cunningham and the Rockets' Jalen Green - both hovering around 20 points a game. It looks like Cunningham's season is over after playing in just 12 games. He averaged 19.9 points a game in that span, is having season-ending surgery on his shin.
Meanwhile, Green is averaging 21.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists through 27 games this season. He's shooting 41.8 percent from the field and is clearly the best player on this young Rockets team.
The Rockets have won five straight home games, in which Green is averaging 28.2 points, 5.6 assists and five boards.
Green finished fourth in ROTY voting last season, behind Barnes, Mobley and Cunningham. But is he the best player from this sophomore class?
